LAMDA stands for the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.

Their examinations in Speech and Drama are considered the most prestigious in the world.

At Italia Conti Chislehurst we offer LAMDA exam sessions to students aged 8-18. The age restriction is due to the educational nature behind the syllabus. As well as learning and preparing speeches and monologues to perform in the exam, students must also retain information about play writes, plays, practitioners and performances.

Exams take place regularly throughout the year at designated locations in London, and we will advise students when we feel they are ready to take their performance exam.

Once higher levels are achieved in LAMDA exams these begin to count towards valuable UCAS points for University entry.
