JEREMY CAVE

SINGING & DRAMA TEACHER

Jeremy is the musical Director of Italia Conti Chislehurst. He started his professional career at the age of 10 when he joined D&B Agency, which brought him his first performing roles such as, the part of Curly in Peter Pan and John in The Demon Headmaster.

 

Originally from Cornwall Jeremy then moved to London to join The Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts at the age of 13 where he studied for the next six years, graduating at the age of 19 with a Diploma in Theatre Arts. During his time at Italia Conti, Jeremy was a member of ‘The Complete works Shakespeare Company’ touring London playing several leading roles including; Lucentio in The ‘Taming of the Shrew’ and Oliver in ‘As you Like It’.

     

Also whilst attending Italia Conti Jeremy appeared in ‘Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets’ Billy in ‘The Cripple of Inishmaan’ – Landor Theatre and was asked by Phil McIntyre Entertainments to create and play the part Lord Jeremiah in a workshop of Top Cat The Musical – coming to a west end theatre soon!

 

After College he joined the Oriana Theatre Company and toured the World for a year playing in 17 different musicals.  He then went on to tour Europe and the UK in ‘Oh what a night’. After this he performed in the play ‘Lord of the flies’ playing Eric at the Broadway Theatre in London. Jeremy then joined the cast of ‘Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’ playing Jacob and Gad for the UK Tour. More recently he has delved into the film world starring as Andy in ‘Evil Bread’ which has won best feature film and played film festivals internationally plus The recent Disney adaption of ‘Beauty and the Beast’ playing the Bakers Boy. After he toured again playing Zalika in 'How the Lion became King of Tinga Tinga Land' that then transferred to the west end. 

 

Stepping away from being in front of the audience and camera Jeremy now has his own production company ‘New Cave Productions’ - Filming music videos, short films and documentaries. His last documentary “40 Years Behind The Plough’ was featured in several film festivals around the UK and his latest documentary “Warehouse’ is nearly finished and ready for next film circuit! 

 

Jeremy has taught singing and acting all over Britain including Italia Conti Barbican & The Brit School. He now feels privileged to teach back at where it all started!
